The extension reads posts in your browser, in your logged-in session. There is no scraping vendor in the middle and no account credentials leave your machine. It only looks at Instagram pages you have open.

Install

It isn’t in the Chrome Web Store yet, so installing takes a few steps rather than one button.

  1. 01Open chrome://extensions.
  2. 02Turn on Developer mode, top right.
  3. 03Click Load unpacked and choose the extension folder from the download.
  4. 04In Snappd, open Settings → Chrome extension → Copy connect code.
  5. 05Click the extension icon, paste the code, and save it.
